ASONAHORES and MITUR Participate in the IBTM World 2015

The Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic, Inc. (ASONAHORES), together with the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR), participates in the IBTM 2015 that is taking place November 17 – 19, 2015. The 3-day long IBTM is the leading global event of the meetings and events industry.

Thelma Martínez, the ASONAHORES Marketing Director, is attending the IBTM with the objective of continuing to promote the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE) 2016, the main tourism fair in the Dominican Republic, which is organized by ASONAHORES with the support of the Ministry of Tourism. DATE will be held on April 19 – 21, 2016, at the Paradisus Palma Real Convention Center. It will include new programs for the delegates and the Hosted MICE Buyer Program, in addition to cutting-edge trends in the hospitality and tourism industries.

Thelma Martínez, who participated in ABAV 2015 and IMEX America 2015, explains that each year DATE seeks to influence new market segments and increase the marketing of Dominican tourism products to benefit the tourism sector and the country.

IBTM WORLD 2015 serves as a meeting point for those in charge of the incentives and events industry who wish to participate in business projects at the global level in the wonderful city of Barcelona. Delegates gather for three days to meet and network with other representatives, and to participate in informative seminars and dialogues in an atmosphere of dynamic and focused business.
