Tourist Office for Puerto Rico Reopens with Crisotomo Show The Dominican Office of Tourism Promotion in Puerto Rico has reopened its doors to the pubic with the first one-man show of well-known Dominican artist Henry Crisóstomo after having remodeled and enlarged their offices. Crisóstomo “reflects the soul of the Dominican people in his art, using native influences to create a body of modern artwork that embodies the most authentic traditions of our country.” This art show will form part of the permanent exhibition of the Office of Tourism Promotion in Puerto Rico which will also serve as a promotion tool for the country, according to the office’s director, Cosette García. “With this project we’re showcasing the image and culture of our country, presenting its handicrafts in a unique way, creating visual, attractive and practical space for artists that will ultimately provide our agencies, wholesalers, Dominican hotels and visitors with an excellent area in which to learn about the work we do in this market,” said Ms. Garcia. García added that Crisóstomo “reflects the soul of the Dominican people in his art, using native influences to create a body of modern artwork that embodies the most authentic traditions of our country.”
