President Fernández Meets With European Union Diplomats

The President of the Republic, Dr. Leonel Fernández, met on Tuesday for a working lunch with the heads of the European Union diplomatic missions accredited in the country.

Present at the meeting were Cécile Pozzo di Borgo, French Ambassador; Enrico Giucciardi, Italian Ambassador; Christian Germann, Ambassador from Germany and Aart Jan Verdegall, Ambassador from the Netherlands.

Javier Gasso, Economic and Business representative from the Spanish Embassy; Scott Melling, Economic and Business representative from the British Embassy and Jaime Garcia, Business Attaché of the European Commission Delegation were also present.

Carlos Morales Troncoso, Foreign Minister of the Dominican Republic, also attended the lunch meeting with President Leonel Fernández and the European representatives held at the National Palace.
