Dominicans Participate in San Francisco Carnival Parade For the first time, Dominicans participated in the Carnival Parade in the North American city of San Francisco with a colorful float representing the Dominican Republic. The Dominican participation in the parade was colorful and full of entertainment. The parade, passing through the Mission District of the city last Sunday, featured musical groups, the limping devils, folk dancers as well as stick and motorized dances led by convertibles driven by members of the Dominican community. The Dominican participation in the parade was colorful and full of entertainment. The Dominican Club and its board members made an extraordinary effort to make their showing spectacular. Among the participants were Ray Batista, Jose Luiz Ramos, Teresa Alou (Tity) and Zeneida Perdomo, who took the reins to make this a memorable show of Dominican talent and joy.
