The Colonial GATE 4D Cinema Receives TripAdvisor 2019 Certificate of Excellence

Santo Domingo, May 28, 2019 – The Colonial Gate 4D Cinema announced that for a third consecutive year it was issued a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor.

In this, its ninth year, TripAdvisor certifies businesses that provide their clients with excellent services. The awards are issued depending on the number of votes the establishment receives from the visiting tourists. Restaurants, hotels, and other tourism-oriented attractions are annually rewarded by the positive reviews written by national and international visitors on the quality of service received, among other categories.

“TripAdvisor is pleased to announce that for almost a decade it has celebrated those businesses that continuously receive positive reviews from international travelers through the world’s greatest travel platform,” explained Neela Pal, TripAdvisor’s Branding Vice President. ”This award allows us to publicly recognize those companies that actively take into account the comments made by visiting clients, thereby helping future travelers visit top-rated restaurants, lodgings and natural environments.”

The Certificate of Excellence explains is a symbol of quality and quantity, and takes into account the reviews submitted by world travelers during a 12-month period. To quality, the company must maintain a four-out-of-five rating, have a minimum number of reviews, and should have been included in the platform during the previous 12 months.

The Colonial Gate 4D Cinema provides the visitor with a multi-sensory experience, where they feel that they are part of the movie they are watching. The movie theater lets the visitor feel the wind, rain, aromas, movement, among other elements.

This is the country’s and the Caribbean’s first 4D theater. And it is the only in the world that has a multilingual platform, where visitors can watch a specific movie in nine languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Russian, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin and Japanese.
