Santo Domingo, January 9, 2020 – The Hodelpa Nicolás de Ovando Hotel, situated in the very heart of Santo Domingo’s Colonial Zone, organized its traditional end-of-year celebration with a top-of-the-line dinner and dancing, in a magical setting set up especially to receive the new year.
The festivity began at 7:00 p.m. at the hotel’s top-rated “Restaurante 1502,” with a six-course dinner accompanied by wine and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.
This year the menu included a fabulous lentil stew with sausage a la lemongrass; yellow plantain and mushroom crepes, goat cheese and bacon Roquefort; Mahi Mani Fillet with Nikkei sauce and roasted pork in aromatic herbs. The dessert menú was just as tempting, offering an exquisite chocolate mousse.
Music was also part of the lovely evening. Gustavo “Crooner” de Hostos and DJ Slavito delighted guests with their particular Brand of music. “Crooner” Hostos and his jazz band played some of the best jazz classics, while DJ Slavito ushered in the best tropical rhythms.
The Hodelpa Nicolás de Ovando is situated in Las Damas Street, in Santo Domingo’s very active Colonial Zone.
